We are holding this class in collaboration with Applied Technical Services, Inc. (ATS), a multidisciplinary firm serving global clients since 1967. Taught by passionate instructors with decades of experience from both RNR Rescue and ATS, this class will be skills-driven and student-focused. Students will learn how to safely access structures using two-rope systems, as well as advanced techniques of structural progression and rescue. Held in a training facility specifically designed specifically for rope access with the most modern equipment, this class will set students up for success for pursuing their SPRAT certification.
Students will learn the skills needed to successfully pass the level of SPRAT testing they intend to be evaluated on (Level I or Level II).
Upon completion of this courses and successfully passing the evaluation testing, the Level I student should be able to:
- Perform a safety inspection of all equipment and systems
- Perform basic rope access maneuvers
- Assist in system rigging and building of anchor systems
- Perform basic rope rescues while on rope
