
Emergency Medical Rescue Tactics (EMRT)
No Prerequisite
Course is designed to prepare individuals/teams with little to no medical training or background to respond to immediate medical emergency situations. Significant, imperative, need-to-know actions fill the gap between the hands-on rescue and the arrival of emergency personal (EMS). Upon completion of the course students will have acquired the knowledge enabling critical life-saving techniques beyond basic first aid and basic life-saving skills for self-aid, and or the individual/team rescuer.
RNR Industrial Machinery Entanglement Rescue Training
Customizable
No Prerequisite
This hands-on training offers students the experience of using customized props that replicate realistic common workplace accidents, using both hand and power tools. We customize rescue scenarios to simulate the emergency medical response required for such accidents, including basic medical, E.M.R. or E.M.T.
Training topics include: NFPA 1670, Tools (both hand and power), Specialized Equipment, Crush Injury/Crush Syndrome along with guidance on how to work with local First Responders.
This class includes, but not limited to:
- Lock-out tag out
- Cutting torch work
- Impalements
- Machine Disassembly
- Lifting and spreading
Special Requirements:
- Eye & hearing protection
- Fire-retardant clothing including gloves will be required for portions of the hand- on training.
Immediate Industrial Medical Action (IIAM)
10 Hours (1- 10 hour day)
